I can't believe that my sweet Charli Jane has already circled the sun!
I remember after she was born, holding her close to me and soaking in the smell of her fluffy duckling hair and staring extra long at every little crease in her lips as she slept on my bare chest. Before I knew it, I'd blink and time would be fast-paced and fleeting.
...And here we are, 13 months later.
I. Just. Can't. Believe. It.
Every 1st birthday the kids have had, I've been known to go a little overboard so I was thrilled to plan a girly birthday party after 6 years of being a "boy-mom" (not that boys aren't great, but seriously y'all...give me all the lace and pink and flowers...AHH!!)
The theme I came up with for Charli's party was "April Showers, Bring Wildflowers".
Each invitation was printed on plantable seed paper so that all our guests could plant their invite. May your flowers be wild like her hair and as beautiful as her soul.
I'm so thrilled to finally share photos from such a truly perfect celebration for our sweet girl.
